Michael Strom, MHP

You do not need a finished story to start. People come wanting a place to talk things through and find a way forward that belongs to them. Whether life feels off, stuck, or simply heavier than it should, that is enough reason to reach out. I work with adults from many walks of life. I have years of experience in ABA and RDI with autistic individuals and families, I have been in aviation, and I know military life from the inside. Those parts of my background inform how I work; however, they do not limit who I see. Faith-informed or Christian perspectives can be part of the work if that is useful to you, or left out if it is not.

During our time together, I approach each session with genuine curiosity and commitment to understanding what this is like for you. I offer a collaborative, respectful space where you can speak openly. I listen closely, ask useful questions, and adjust the work to your goals using an evidence-based approach. You set the pace and I walk with you.

I spent twenty years in the military and know what it is like to carry responsibility, transition, and things that are hard to put into words. That experience shapes how I show up: straightforward, respectful, and without pressure. I believe people can grow even when the load feels heavy. If this sounds like a fit, I would be glad to hear from you.
