Tessa

Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

-Romans 12:2

Tessa Fultz, LICSW

Tessa Fultz is the founder of Lakeview Wellness Counseling and now offers therapy more selectively, focusing on the areas she’s most passionate about—anxiety, parenting support, autism and ADHD, self‑esteem building, women’s issues including prenatal and postpartum care, and EMDR‑based trauma work. While she still enjoys working with clients (typically ages 10 and up), her primary focus has shifted toward consulting, writing, practice management, and offering credentialing and website‑building services.

Her clinical background includes experience with anxiety, neurodivergence, depression, grief, trauma and PTSD, faith‑based integration, and women’s wellness. She incorporates tools like journal therapy, mindfulness (with over 20 years of personal practice), life‑coaching strategies, nutrition‑informed support, diagnostic evaluations, walk‑and‑talk therapy, and workbook‑based approaches at a pace that feels right for each person.

Welcome! My approach to therapy is gentle and deeply caring. I work from the belief that healing happens in a space where you feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. In our work together, I bring a calm, steady presence and an attitude of curiosity. I provide tools, strategies, and a listening ear. I see therapy as a partnership. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to walk alongside you, attuned to your needs, your emotions, and your goals. Together, we look at what’s working, what feels stuck, and what possibilities might open up with the right support. If desired, I integrate faith‑based principles to help you. Clients often describe therapy with me as helpful and encouraging.

I have personal experience with mental illness, recovery, loss, and trauma. I am a woman of God first; wife and mom second. I was a former military spouse and have been divorced. I am remarried and we have a beautiful blended family of 7 amazing kids/adult children. I love working with parents & families as much as I do with seniors and individuals also!
