Meet Rachel
Rachel Ellingson, M.A., LADC, P-LPCC
Master of Arts in Counseling, Crown College, 2023
Hello! I am passionate about helping clients 12 years and older. I believe that everyone has a unique history and background and that it is my responsibility to help in any way that I can! I have helped people in the mental health field for around 2 years and have also worked in the addiction field as well as a Licensed Drug and Alcohol counselor (LADC). I use person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, faith integration, narrative therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy in practice.
I really feel like counseling was a calling for me and that my personality matches well for helping others. I strive to be better at my profession every day and hope that I can bring warmth and peace of mind to all of my clients. I also believe that pointing people towards the Gospel/Bible is also very important in the healing process when desired or requested. I will meet people where they are at, whether they have no faith, strong faith or somewhere in between.
Some fun facts about me is that I am a huge sports fan and enjoy being outside, being with friends and family, and being active! Please reach out today to ask questions or to schedule your first session!
I am working towards my LPCC license. A pre-licensed therapist is a mental health professional who has finished their master’s or doctoral degree in a field like counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy, but is still completing the supervised clinical hours required to practice independently. Rachel is supervised by board approved supervisor, Tessa Fultz, MSW, LICSW.
