I specialize in working with women, children and families. I am a certified coach, licensed therapist, writer, clinical supervisor, educator and consultant who believes deeply in the healing power of compassion, faith, and connection. I welcome clients from all walks of life and with all diagnoses, and I strive to offer a warm, supportive space where people can feel seen, understood, and encouraged.

I’ve spent over 10 years in the mental health field, working in group homes, residential treatment, case management, and in‑home therapy. Since 2021, I've been providing clinical supervision and therapy. I started LWC in 2023. Over time, I’ve developed a holistic, practical approach to care. My specialties are listed below.

With clients, I tend to be solution focused, goal oriented, and ask meaningful questions to encourage the client towards growth. I draw from a variety of tools. I enjoy a variety of therapy approaches --positive psychology, CBT, DBT, EMDR, expressive art, or solution focused therapy.

My empathy is shaped by my own lived experiences. I’ve walked through anxiety, grief, trauma, PTSD, and 18 years of parenting.  I have been divorced, been a military spouse, traveled and lived in Japan, and have a beautiful, blended family of 7 children and a husband who is awesome.  In my free time, I love to be out in nature, on or near the water, spending time with my dogs and family, and reading. My favorite book is the bible and I volunteer at my church.
