Meet Rachel!
Hello! My name is Rachel Ellingson and I am a Therapist and a Christian counselor working towards my LPCC license with a master's degree in counseling. I am passionate about helping clients from the age of 12 years and older. I use person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, faith integration, narrative therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy in practice. I believe that everyone has a unique history and background and that it is my responsibility to help in any way that I can! I have helped people in the mental health field for around 2 years and have also worked in the addiction field as well. I really feel like counseling was a calling for me and that my personality matches well for helping others. I strive to be better at my profession every day and hope that I can bring warmth and peace of mind to all of my clients.
I also believe that pointing people towards the Gospel/Bible is also very important in the healing process when desired or requested. I will meet people where they are at, whether they have no faith, strong faith or somewhere in between.
Some fun facts about me is that I am a huge sports fan and enjoy being outside, being with friends and family, and being active! Please reach out today to ask questions or to schedule your first session!
